Watched this last night with my best friend. She was the one who could relate more to this movie than me. Anyway, there was really a lot of stuff going on with this movie.

1. Lovely on screen acting by Mr. John Lloyd Cruz and Angel Locsin, they really played the part well, bagay sa kanila mga roles.

2. Mr. John Lloyd Cruz is the "epitome" of a guy who can make your laugh, which is a plus for women, without forcing it, it comes naturally for him.

3. Ms. Angel Locsin, who played the part very well. She played this "snabera" career-oriented woman in the film.

4. You could really learn a lot from this film, one of my favorite lines:

Ces: Hindi ka ba nagsasawang masaktan? Ces’ mother: Nagsasawa naman pero ‘di lang ako napapagod magmahal.
(Aren't you getting used to getting hurt? Sure I am, but I'm not getting tired of loving)

“Paano ko makikilala yung taong para sa’kin kung sa bawat sakit na mararamdaman ko ay susuko agad ako.”
(How would you find the right person for me, if I would give up easily on every hurt that I have come across?)
“Hindi naman talaga tayo napapagod masaktan e, dahil sa totoo lang, hindi rin naman tayo napapagod na magmahal.”
(We really don't get tired of being hurt, because to be honest, we don't get tired from loving.)

– Cess Bricenio

These quotes will be the reason for my blog.

Recently, I'm courting someone. She's being safe. Lately, I couldn't tell what she really feels. If she's leading me on or not. I know, that, unless she doesn't tell me to stop courting her, I shouldn't give up..but to TBH(To be Honest), she's not giving me enough reason to like her more too..what I noticed, is that, we're not that "click" when we're together..I'm not sure if it's only because there is the "ilang effect" or not, but nonetheless, I find it always hard to converse with her..kung baga, parang walang laman mga usap namin...=/

All I can say is, I'm really at a lost here..I don't know how much I can hold on..when I know someone out there would appriciate me more...

FYI, when my best friend went out with us, even for a little while, said she didn't feel that the one I'm dating wasn't that into me..but she mentioned a disclaimer not to take her word for it...is it a girl thing? That would feel such a thing?

Anyway, if you've been following my post, she Ms. N.

I guess that's about it...

Do You Believe In Life After Love - Cher

What am I supposed to do
Sit around and wait for you
Well I can't do that
And there's no turning back
I need time to move on
I need a love to feel strong
'Cause I've got time to think it through
And maybe I'm too good for you

Quoting another line from the movie Unofficially Yours and I will leave this for you all to ponder:
"....Pero ‘wag kang mag-alala, hindi kita pipilitin kasi naiintindihan kita.”
-Mackie Galvez (UNOFFICIALLY YOURS)"

Happy Valentine's Day! 2012

I'd like to share how my Valentine's Day 2012 went.

It all started last week when I fetched my friend N on a regular basis now every Thursday after work since she's always coding on that day, and since I'm always in that area once a week. Just as we were about to go home, I asked her if she had any plans "next week." She replied: "Sa?" "Nope, Tueday(Valentine's Day)" with a little grin on my face like I was expecting it was deliberate. She said: "ah..wala naman.." So I invited her if we can have dinner together. Unfortunately, she said: "Ha? huwag na noh..hindi na..." (but not in a angry or frustrated voice but in a blushing way? I couldn't really call how she said it, but I'm sure it wasn't a totally "rejecting" answer). "Bahay lang ako..bahay...yeah.." I smiled and said a simple ok letting her know I understood what she meant. BUT, at the back of my mind, "perfect!"

My plan went something like this:

Feb. 13, Monday, I tried going to her house in Manila to ask permission from her dad..but as soon as I got near her house, I saw her car, eep! She didn't go to work? What if I rang the doorbell and she answered?! A lot was running through my mind at that moment, I just had to ask either of her parents..I could only think of one other solution. Calling her dad, I got her dad's number through her sister, when I visited her home then and her sister was the only who was around aside from her grandparents. I asked for their father's number so that in case I needed to fetch N, I'd let him know so he won't have to fetch N.

I got to talk to her dad and asked him for his permission. I even texted him just to be sure, funny how I told him when I called him in Chinese, and texted him in English. He replied with an OK, viola!

I deliberately just bought 2 flowers to get out of those cliche that flowers come in threes (I Love You). I actually have thought a lot of things to say to defend myself in case I'm asked by whoever. I could say, "it means, love you.." or "I is not important, what's important is Love, and You.." etc.

I got my flowers that I bought from my friend that's quite affordable, not really too grand and doesn't look really cheap(like some that comes from Dang-Wa that is priced the same). I was actually happy when I got it, well, my friend would also try her best for this set of flowers to look really good before it got to me. My friend though made me a little worried that I might not make it in time because I still had to buy dinner in Little Tokyo, Makati and both were actually heavy traffic areas of Makati. Thank God I made it to both with a lot of time to spare. I got to my friends house 6pm and got the very beautiful arranged flowers, thank you, you know who you are just in case ;) And quickly went back to my car because the attendant at the parking, when I asked her nicely that I was just going to pick up something, she let me go without paying any parking fee, again, thank you po..!

Traffic was really bad at this point because office hours was over. It was a good thing I allotted an hour to an hour and a half of each travel time. From house to flowers, from flowers to ordering food, from food to N's house. I got to her house with more than 30min. to spare..praise God!

N's mom gave me regular coke to drink while waiting for N and asked me if I could understand mandarin because we were watching a tv series on television. I honestly said I was really rusty and could only understand a few words.

A few moments later N arrived. I couldn't really distinguish if she was surprised  not happy see me because of work, I really don't know, but she thankfully, she finally arrived.

2 people actually gave me quite the scare, first was my own bestfriend when she told me that "bahay nga lang ba talaga? baka mamaya sinasabi lang niya un.." I forgot about it after a few days and the second one was N's mother. When I got to their house, as I was trying to get the food out of the plastic, her mom mentioned that she's going to call N where she is already, I tried to tell her that it was ok, and that I'd just patiently wait for her. But she insisted because she might "excape" (in Chinese). I just smiled at her but got a little scared..because I remember what my friend told me...but, I tried to have Faith..that she was coming and we were going to have dinner together.

She finally came. At first, it was a little awkward, she kept on insisting me that I go ahead and eat first, later I found out that she had heavy merienda of Spaghetti so that's why she kept on inisting I go ahead first, but I insisted back that I wanted to have dinner together. Finally, we had dinner together, she got the small plates, and I tried to tell her to invite her parents or siblings to have dinner with us. Her parents didn't get to join us but her siblings did.

First to arrive was her sister who came after her. At first she was hesitant and said she was on a "diet." But eventually gave in. She asked her sister if their youngest brother was home, he was and N invited him to have dinner with us as well. It was really nice to have dinner together with N and her siblings. Her brother was a little quiet rather than her sister whom I find more socializing than his brother. I remember how I am sometimes when I see his brother, I would always offer him one of the food on the table.

We had our dinner, as we were trying to clean up, N would insist I leave my plate on the table, but I didn't and offered I get her plate instead. In the end, her brother got the plate from me and went to the kitchen. I got the styrofoam from the take out and followed them to the kitchen. Her mom let me sit in the couch while waiting for N. When N arrived, she and her siblings stayed awhile to play with the dogs. N showed my one of her pets could do a lot of good tricks.

I rested after eating about 30+min. and finally told her I should go. When I got to the car and got the flowers to give it to her, she simply said:"wow..." It won't be a valentine without the flowers I replied. I told her Happy Valentine's Day one last time and drove off.

That ladies and gentlemen was my Valentine's Day 2012, Happy hearts to you all..!

P.S. I still believe in TRUE LOVE.

Goodnight, good fight! :)

Marionette

Who is Ahcee Flores(don't be lazy, google her, she's famous!), if you are lazy, this is her, somewhat, http://ph.news.yahoo.com/-ahcee-flores--is-newest-target-of-net-attacks.html. Anyway, this blog is going to be WHAT I think of everything that's happening regarding what Ahcee Flores did, about SOCIAL CONSTRAINTS...and whatever I think I should talk about, this is my blog, this is what MY opinion, live with it.

What is Social Constraints(for me): this is the act of oneself being "constrained" with whatever outside force is keeping him/her from saying WHATEVER he/she wants to say, whatever we want to do, etc.(you get the picture?) from saying or doing for the SAKE of either "morality, religion, social norms," etc.

Eto ang "batas" meaning, piki mo mga mata mo, imagine, sa mundong WALANG BATAS, anyone would get away with bullshit...walang morale, or standard kuno.

And sa akin lang, panindigan mo...ano man sabihin mo, ano man gawin mo, panindigan mo...if you ever choose to go outside of the social norms, believe in it, strive for it, fight for it. As simple as that. That's one way of being responsible...

Ahcee Flores, now an internet sensation after Mr. Christopher Lao(google him too), but Ahcee is more of the social responsibility example. What she did, I admire, but what she said, disgusts me so much that I'm cringing every time I'm reminded of it. What I meant with what she did, is how she just blurted out those words, I'm assuming she knows that EVERYONE will get to read it, how she just said those unimaginable words on a time like that where people were so afraid, panicking, hopeful, waiting for love ones to return call, etc. What she said was really...sad..that's what "social responsibility" is all about...

Although there are SOME cases wherein, people have the most.."honest" intentions, meaning, hindi nila sinasadya dahil hindi nila alam. Kung baga, someone among the group talking was asked what he thinks of let's say cancer, but he didn't know that someone from the group has cancer...so he/she freely tells the group what he thinks about cancer, without any social constraint, since they were in a private group. Now what he or she said could be good or bad.(good and bad i think is becoming more and more subjective, but that's on a different blog entry) So, what do you think should happen next? The one who speaked his/her mind shouldn't say sorry UNTIL it was layed out on the table that he/she has offended someone, BUT the offended SHOULD understand that he/she who just spoke his/her mind DIDN'T know...

I'm saying this because this just happened to me recently, I'm talking with my really close friends via email and one of my friend was going to organize a party with his younger sister, and this sister was 2nd to the youngest, and I know was still in college studying..so initially I thought and said that this party was going to be a "children's party" jokingly and told them that won't it be a little off...since we're going to party with you sister's friends? One was kind enough to correct me, but in not such a good way, and I totally forgot I'm a year older among my barkada could you blame me if i think that way? My invitation to the party got revoked, and I understand completely why my friend did that, I just want to say sorry to my friends whom I have offended, hopefully this blog gets to you and know where I'm coming from. I found out that their sister's age wasn't really that far apart, so I apologized and is waiting for their forgiveness...but if not, I did my part.

Anyway, lately, I have been so...careless that I don't think before I speak lately, but, it's just because I'm too comfortable being with friends that I just say whatever I want/think but don't get me wrong, I sincerely don't have any intentions of offending them, honest to goodness, I didn't know...I'm somewhat of a free spirited person, but growing from a traditional Chinese Family, sometimes I get carried away with so much social constraints...when I am with my friends, I care less of who people think I am, because I am myself when I'm with them...ang hindi ko lang magets minsan, kung yung isang tropa natin, naiitindihan mo na "ganon" siya, bakit ako, hindi niyo maintindihan na "eto ako"? Extremist, some of my friends would say..? Weird.

so...ano na?
